Analog Devices Switching Regulator: I'm designing with the LTC3111, do you recommend PWM or burst mode?

power management

It doesn't matter which one you choose because it doesn't switch to burst mode in a circuit where the load current is constantly over 100mA.
If the current is 100mA or less, it is recommended to select burst mode, as it will reduce power consumption and improve efficiency at light loads. Note, however, that the ripple voltage will be slightly higher. If you are concerned about ripple, we recommend PWM mode, but please note that efficiency drops at light loads, just like a normal switching regulator.
