Analog Devices MEMS Accelerometer : Why is the temperature measured with the ADXL357's internal temperature sensor highly variable?
The built-in temperature sensor is designed for compensation of the acceleration sensor and has high linearity, but the sensitivity and offset have large variations. A two-point or three-point linear approximation is recommended for synchronizing room temperature and temperature sensors.
Another method is to ignore the difference between the built-in temperature sensor and the true value of the temperature, and use the output of the built-in sensor as the temperature to correct the temperature of the acceleration sensor. In this case, it is not necessary to measure the individual correction values of the temperature sensors individually. We also recommend the linear approximation of the two-point method or the three-point method.
