The USB driver may not be recognized correctly. It may be solved by downloading and installing the USB driver as described in the EZ article (Fix for ISEB eval system incompatible with Windows10). (Shown as “Sllicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx)” in Device Manager.)
