Analog Devices Analog Multiplexer: Why is there noise on S3A when A[1:0] on ADG509F alternates with 00b,10b?
It seems that the spikes appear as noise because the electric charge stored in the MOSFETs that make up the analog switches and the parasitic capacitance of the substrate wiring moves at the moment of switch switching. This phenomenon also occurs with mechanical switches, so put a buffer on the input side.
