Analog Devices High Speed A/D Converter: LTC2226 datasheet states, "For best performance, drive the analog inputs differentially. Each input is centered around a common mode voltage of 1.5V, ±0.5V on the 2V range, The 1 V range requires an amplitude of ±0.25 V." Could you please elaborate on this?
This statement is the condition for the best performance. Full input of the selected range is the condition for the best performance. In other words, when using the 2V range,
AIN+: VCM±0.5V
AIN-: VCM±0.5V
When used with , the differential input is ±1V and the range is 2V.
