Analog Devices I2C Isolator: LTM2810 has a creepage distance of 15mm or more, which is suitable for high voltage insulation, but when I looked at the evaluation board, I noticed that the creepage distance was only 3mm due to the C5 pattern (a safety capacitor for CISPR22 Class B compliance). Please tell me how to deal with this.

Interface & isolator

By placing SMD capacitors (safety capacitors) in series or capacitors with wide lead spacing, creepage distances of 15 mm or more can be accommodated. The layout of the LTM2885 demo board DC1794A, which uses two lead-type (10 mm distance between leads) capacitors in series, may be helpful. Note that when using a lead-type capacitor, the EMI attenuation effect decreases as the inductance increases.
