Analog Devices Precision A/D Converter: Please tell me how to calculate the temperature when RTD is selected in the result display in the AD7124 evaluation software.
In the case of temperature display, instead of the value in the Ext Ref column, the code value is converted to temperature under the following conditions of the tutorial such as the built-in parameter 5.11KΩ.
(Tutorial conditions) Reference resistance 5.11K, excitation current 500μ, PT100
When using other than the above conditions, set the unit system to code and display the result.
PT100 resistance = code x Rref ÷ 2^24 (unipolar mode) ÷ gain.
After that, calculate the temperature from the PT100 specification table.
*For bipolar mode, calculate by 2^23
