I am using the Analog Devices isolated A/D converter: AD7400. How can I find the effective number of bits (ENOB) from the decimation ratio?
A/D converter (ADC)
The SNR can be read from the graph showing the relationship between decimation and SNR in the data sheet, and the number of effective bits can be calculated by ENOB=(SNR+1.76)/6.02.
