Analog Devices Switching Regulators: What are the considerations when using the remote sensing feature of the LTM4627?
Please pay attention to the following points when designing.
- Depends on wiring length and wiring width.
- As the wiring length increases, the parasitic resistance component increases and the parasitic inductor component also increases, so please keep the wiring as short as possible.
DC fluctuations due to resistance components can be compensated with this remote sensing function, but AC fluctuations due to load fluctuations
The effect increases as the parasitic inductance increases.
- If the wiring length is long, secure the wiring width and optimize the capacity of the decoupling capacitor at the load end.
Ensure voltage characteristics.
- Please be careful about the routing of the wiring so that noise is not picked up.
