D/A converter (DAC)
A single AD5542A configuration cannot output a voltage above the VDD-GND power rail. Please refer to the schematic (Figure 32) on page 16 of the datasheet shown below.
The next op amp is scaled to allow ±5V output. A simple circuit configuration can be achieved by setting the gain using an instrumentation amplifier such as the AD8230 or AD8251 in the operational amplifier section.
