Quartus Prime
| message | meaning |
| Error | determined to be problematic (e.g. design description, placement and routing disabled, etc.) |
| Critical Warning | I don't think it can operate normally, but I can judge that it will work for the time being (Example: timing error, etc.) |
| Warning | What you want the user to check and judge (File reading, output Hi/Lo fixation, etc.) |
As soon as an Error occurs, stop compiling and correct the corresponding part.
Warning (including Critical) displays a message but completes compilation.
