When using Signal Tap (formerly SignalTap II) or Signal Probe in Quartus® Prime Lite Edition or Quarus® II Web Edition, you can use the TalkBack feature by enabling it.

By enabling the TalkBack feature, information such as resource usage, I/O pin usage, and the operating system being used is automatically sent to Altera from the compilation results.
However, rest assured that design files such as RTL will not be sent.

To enable the TalkBack feature, please follow these steps. After completing the setup, restart Quartus® Prime / Quarus® II.

1. Select Options from the Tools menu
2. Select Internet Connectivity in the Options window
3. Click TalkBack Options
4. Enable Turn on the Quartus II software TalkBack eature in the TalkBack Options window

Note that the TalkBack option has been removed in Quartus® Prime Lite Edition v16.1 and later, so this setting is no longer necessary.
