Altera: When writing in Active Serial Programming mode using USB Blaster III, the message "Current programming hardware does not support Active Serial Programming programming mode" is displayed.

When using USB Blaster III and writing to the device in Active Serial Programming mode with Quartus Prime's Programmer,
The following error message appears:

Current programming hardware does not support Active Serial Programming programming mode

Message displayed

The initial shipment of USB Blaster III units does not support Active Serial Programming due to a firmware issue.
Therefore, you need to update the Product ID of the USB Blaster III to 6023.

<This workaround applies to:>
Users who own a USB Blaster III product with Product ID 6020 and who perform Active Serial Programming on the USB Blaster III.
→ Users who do not use Active Serial Programming mode do not need this workaround. Also, this issue does not affect JTAG communication.
