Tools: Quartus® Prime Pro Edition
Device: Cyclone® 10 GX


Normally, a paid license is required to use Quartus® Prime Pro Edition, but Cyclone® 10 GX can be used free of charge and does not require license acquisition or configuration.
After installing Quartus® Prime Pro Edition, when you launch the GUI for the first time, the License Setup Required dialog Box will appear as shown below.
Please select [Free Mode].

The dialog Box that appears will vary depending on the version of Quartus® Prime Pro Edition you have installed.
If the following License Setup Required message appears, select *Enter free mode with limited device family support* to develop for Cyclone® 10 GX.

If you start the software in "Enter free mode with limited device family support", only Cyclone® 10 GX will be displayed as a device family option.
