UnitedSiC offers a portfolio of SiCFET products with industry-leading low on-resistance of 7 milliohms, allowing you to dramatically increase the efficiency, power density, and solution space of your power system. In addition, the UJ3C, UF3C/SC FET series uses a cascode connection between a SiC JFET and a specially designed Si MOSFET to achieve normally-off operation of the MOSFET, a high-performance body diode, and the same gate drive as a conventional Si MOSFET. Since it is possible to drive the device with a circuit, it is easy to replace IGBTs and superjunctions.
Macnica will begin selling and promoting UnitedSiC products, focusing on high-growth and advanced applications such as electric vehicles (EVs), battery charging, IT infrastructure, and renewable energy.
