Wurth Elektronik eiSos will start offering a passive element library for Zuken's design software ``CADSTAR'' for free. By using this library, you no longer have to create your own footprints and mechanical dimensions to fit your part. Users can download the correct parts to design, improving operational efficiency. Element geometry data and electrical parameter details are defined in the library, and this information is updated regularly.
In the future, we plan to use the library of semiconductors, including passive devices, optoelectronic devices, and electromechanical devices. The new library will be available for free download from the Wurth Elektronik homepage and will be included in regular updates of CADSTAR.
Zuken's partnership with the PCB division of Wurth Elektronik eiSos has already been established, with Wurth Elektronik's design rules and layering already built-in as free templates for use in CADSTAR's layout process. Our parts library is also built on this partnership.
CADSTAR's new library allows you to work with the footprints and dimensions of Wurth Elektronik eiSos elements together with their electrical parameters.
