Product Summary

Würth Electronics' lineup of power inductors includes the WE-CFWI (Coupled FlatWire Inductor) series, which has stable inductance values and saturation characteristics and is compatible with high currents, making it ideal for high-performance switching regulators.

The windings can be used in either series or parallel, which allows for miniaturization in various power supply configurations (SEPIC, Cuk, and buck-boost converters, etc.). In addition, the use of special core materials allows for high saturation current characteristics up to 62A, which is about four times higher than conventional products. Other features include an ultra-low DCR and a small variation of 10%. The leakage inductance value is less than 0.5%, making it possible to reduce peak current at startup. The temperature characteristics are also compatible up to 150°C, and have very small temperature drift and DCR characteristics over the entire temperature range.

By using WE-CFWI, it is possible to further utilize the capabilities of high-performance switching regulators.
