Introducing unique RF inductor products from Würth Electronics' lineup. As the name suggests, RF inductors are used in frequency bands ranging from tens of MHz to several GHz, and many have an air-core structure due to the high Q value required. They are indispensable products in the high-frequency circuits of today's mobile communication devices such as cell phones and wireless LANs. The WE-CAIR series is an RF inductor characterized by its extremely high Q value, high current capacity, air-core structure, SMD type, and wide operating temperature range.
WE-CAIR boasts an exceptionally high Q value, exceeding 100 not only in the high-frequency range but also in the low-frequency range. Its rated current is approximately 3.5A, which is higher than that of typical RF inductors. It features an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and a high self-resonant frequency. Five sizes are available: 1322, 3136, 1340, 4248, and 3168, allowing for selection based on application. The 1322 type, in particular, is approximately one-third the size of other sizes and features a rated current 20% higher than conventional 0805 type ceramic coils.
By taking advantage of WE-CAIR's characteristics of "high Q value, high rated current, and small size", it is possible to provide added value in all kinds of high-frequency circuits.
