The "NBM2317" is a non-isolated intermediate bus converter that easily achieves bidirectional voltage conversion between 48V and 12V on a single chip. It has a small package size of 22.83 x 17.34 x 7.42mm, 48V input voltage (38-60V), 12V output voltage (9.5-15V), 750W continuous, 1kW peak, and 97.9% conversion efficiency.

They are essentially low noise without an external filter and also support hot-swap and inrush current limiting.
