270V to 28V voltage conversion, 96% efficiency, isolated DC-DC converter with maximum output of 1300W
Vicor has launched the DCM5614 isolated DC-DC converter with 1300W output that converts from 270V to 28V. The DCM5614 is a 141.43 x 35.54 x 9.40mm VIA™ package with PMBus™ control interface, EMI filter, and transient protection features, and achieves a high power density of 27.5W/cm³ at a very low weight of 178g. . Suitable for a wide range of applications such as aircraft, ships and UAV systems with power density, weight and efficiency challenges. With a high conversion efficiency of 96%, power loss is greatly reduced, and the planar VIA package with excellent heat dissipation is a power supply solution that can dramatically solve cooling issues. The output power can be increased by connecting multiple DC-DC converters DCM5614 in parallel, and it is also possible to operate by connecting the output terminals in series.
