Cooling solutions
Comet A13 SOM The Evaluation Kit comes standard with an aluminum heat spreader, which efficiently dissipates heat from the main heat sources on the module to a large surface area, resulting in effective heat dissipation.
If the expected power consumption exceeds 7W, or if the LE (Logic Element) utilization rate in the user's FPGA application exceeds 85% and the operating clock exceeds 200 MHz, we recommend using forced air cooling with a fan to maintain the FPGA within a safe operating temperature range.
