Product Summary

The Si86xx series are digital isolators using a low power CMOS process. There is a lineup of 1 to 6 channels, and the optimal model number can be selected according to the number of input/output channels. It is guaranteed to operate within a wide temperature range, and since there is no characteristic change due to aging like general photocouplers, it is easy to design. It can also be used as a level shifter that connects signals from circuits with different voltages on the primary and secondary sides. The only external component is the VDD bypass capacitor.

Product name and options

Si86xx has a large lineup. Multi-channel models have a lineup with different numbers of inputs and outputs. We also have models with different insulation voltage, packages, and logic with initial values. It is a model that can use a very high-speed signal with a speed of 150 Mbps. (There are some models with 1 Mbps)

We also have a product lineup that can perform bidirectional signal transmission that can be used for isolation such as I2C and SMBus. (1.7MHz max)

Isolated USB Evaluation Kit

This is an isolated USB demo board. Si88242 and Si8642 CP2102N are used. It can be used with the EFM32 and EFM8 MCU starter kits. The board includes a USB to UART bridge. It has a 20PIN header and a micro USB connector.
