Released SiTime's first clock generator
Clock generators and PLL ICs are generally products that require a so-called external crystal oscillator. Quartz crystals are vulnerable to thermal shock and vibration, and their weaknesses include reduced stability at high temperatures and a short operating life. In addition, customers need BCP measures such as reducing the number of peripheral parts as much as possible.
In contrast, the clock generator created by SiTime uses highly reliable silicon MEMS technology. In addition to solving the above problems, the external crystal oscillator can also be reduced. This was SiTime's first release of a clock generator product, but it is already a product with a growing track record.
