SENSIRION's CO2 sensors are available in two products: the non-dispersive infrared absorption method (SCD30) and the photoacoustic sensing principle (SCD40).

The SCD30 integrates the Company best-in-class temperature and humidity sensor with non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) CO2 detection into an ultra-compact sensor module. Based on our expertise and experience in modeling external heat sources, our correction software engine allows you to accurately measure ambient humidity and temperature without additional components.

The SCD40 combines an unparalleled small size with high performance thanks to the photoacoustic sensing principle and Sensirion's patented PASens ^® and CMOSens ^® technology. SMD compatibility and small footprint provide cost and space efficiency and allow design freedom to meet customer needs. Best-in-class integrated temperature and humidity sensors enable superior on-chip signal correction and output of additional humidity and temperature data. With a wide supply voltage range (2.4 V to 5.5 V), robustness to external loads, and adjustable power consumption, the SCD4x meets a variety of customer needs.
