Ultra-compact CMOS operational amplifier with the industry's lowest circuit current*

*As of July 17, 2025, according to ROHM research on ultra-low current products of 500nA or less

ROHM Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Kyoto City) has developed the ultra-compact CMOS operational amplifier "TLR1901GXZ," which has the industry's lowest circuit current during operation.
These devices are ideal for use as measurement sense amplifiers in compact applications such as handheld measuring instruments, wearable devices, and indoor detectors powered by batteries or rechargeable batteries.

This product uses a WLCSP with a ball pitch narrowed to 0.35mm, achieving an ultra-compact size of less than 1mm square, while also achieving ultra-low current consumption, keeping the circuit current during operation to an industry-low 160nA (Typ.). This not only enables high-density mounting in a limited space, but also significantly contributes to longer battery life and longer operation times.

Furthermore, the input offset voltage is extremely low at 0.55mV maximum, which is unmatched among low-current consumption op amps, achieving a reduction of approximately 45% compared to conventional products. The input offset voltage temperature drift is also guaranteed to be a maximum of 7µV/°C, enabling high-precision operation even in equipment that is sensitive to external temperatures.
