Product Summary

The RL78/F14 microcontroller is a higher-level product than the RL78/F13. It is available in a lineup of Flash ROM: 48 to 256KB, and packages: 30 to 100 pins. It achieves the industry's lowest current consumption, is equipped with CAN and LIN modules that are common as in-vehicle interfaces, and supports the functional safety related functions of the RL78/F13, as well as BLDC motor control using timer RD, comparators, and D/A converters. Since it allows the construction of a highly reliable system, it can be used not only for in-vehicle applications but also for industrial applications.
