About Qualcomm's 11ax Solution
Qualcomm's Wi-Fi 6 solution is designed to provide consistent high-speed performance combined with low latency on congested networks. In addition to the 11ax standard, proprietary technology enables increased network capacity, ultra-fast connections, and efficient resource management.
Main technology of 11ax
11ax is a standard that aims to improve performance/usability in a crowded wireless LAN environment compared to previous Wi-Fi standards.
It is a standard that greatly improved the following three technologies.

1. Improved multi-user technology
■ 8x8 MU-MIMO: Supports up to 8x8 MU-MIMO in both downlink and uplink

*11ac is up to 4x4, downlink only
■ OFDMA: Employs proven OFDMA technology for 4G LTE for efficient access
【Expected effect】
・It is possible to provide services to multiple users with different bandwidths at the same time.
・A maximum of 37 users can be sent in one transmission
■ Uplink resource scheduler: manage users so that they do not conflict with each other
【Expected effect】
・This approach improves resource utilization and increases efficiency
*In the conventional method, there is no management for users to send data on the uplink.

2. Improved maximum transmission rate
■ With 11ax, a transmission rate of up to 9.6 Gbps has been made possible by adopting the following technologies.
