The fifth generation of the iconic switcher family delivers up to 175W of power and 92% efficiency in classic flyback architecture

Power Integrations will introduce TinySwitch™-5, extending the output power of its most popular integrated offline switcher IC family to 175 W on March 17, 2025. The new TinySwitch-5 uses basic diode rectification and optocoupler feedback to achieve up to 92% efficiency.
