PS8201
Repeater for HDMI™ or DVI digital video interface applications. It can accept DC- or AC-coupled TMDS™ clock and data inputs, allowing it to act as a voltage level shifter for source devices using low-voltage AC-coupled HDMI™ or DVI transmitters. Outputs a DC-coupled HDMI™ /DVI signal that is compatible with HDMI™ /DVI video standards.

Redriving repeater device for HDMI™ or DVI digital video interface applications. Its very low power consumption and small package make it ideal for battery-powered applications. It can accept DC- or AC-coupled TMDS™ clock and data inputs and can act as a voltage level shifter for source devices using low-voltage AC-coupled HDMI™ or DVI transmitters. Provides a DC-coupled HDMI™ /DVI output signal compatible with HDMI™ /DVI video standards.

HDMI™ level shifter/repeater specifically designed for Type 2 dual-mode DisplayPort™ (DP++) cable adapter applications. Designed for use with DisplayPort™-to-DVI or DisplayPort™-to-HDMI™ Type 2 adapters. Supports up to 3.0Gbps TMDS™ data rates and integrates a jitter-tolerant TMDS™ receiver and a jitter-cleaning TMDS™ transmitter.
Removes data and clock jitter and timing skew from TMDS™ inputs and provides ultra-low jitter HDMI™ outputs. Contains I2C-over-AUX conversion and the registers needed to implement a Type 2 DisplayPort™ dual-mode adapter. It is backward compatible with existing dual-mode DP source devices as well as new dual-mode sources enabled with Type 2 adapters. This device can also be used with a motherboard, graphics board, or docking application to take advantage of Type 2 adapter video drivers.

PS8407A
A low power HDMI™ repeater/retimer that fully supports HDMI™ 1.4b by eliminating jitter and supporting up to 300MHz TMDS™ clock rates. It integrates a jitter-tolerant TMDS™ receiver and a jitter-cleaning TMDS™ transmitter for HDMI repeater applications. It removes both data and clock jitter and timing skew from the TMDS™ input, providing an ultra-low jitter HDMI™ output.
Ideal for source, sink, and repeater device applications where jitter attenuation is required. Such requirements may exist at the source to remove Tx jitter and/or induced media (transmission path) jitter to meet HDMI™ output jitter requirements, especially at high TMDS™ clock rates . It can also be used within a switch or sink as a repeater function to improve signal integrity.
Signal integrity can be further optimized using programmable input equalization and output pre-emphasis controls. Also includes a VESA® Dual-Mode DisplayPort™ Type 2 cable adapter DDC resistor. This allows the GPU to use standard dual-mode DisplayPort™ Type 2 adapter drivers to change device settings and identify capabilities. It is not designed for Type 2 cable adapters as it does not have the necessary I2C-over-AUX transaction support. It can also accept AC-coupled or DC-coupled input signals.
