Provides linear redriver functionality for USB Tx and Rx signals. DisplayPort™ main link signals are also supported when DisplayPort™ Alt Mode is enabled.
Supports USB3.2 transport data rates up to 10Gbps (Gen2) and DisplayPort™ data rates up to 8.1Gbps (HBR3). The linear redriver feature compensates for PCB signal loss and other signal distortions, providing higher signal quality and compliance margins at your system's USB-C® receptacle. It also increases system design flexibility by allowing the system's USB Type-C® connector to be positioned further away from the integrated host device. For DisplayPort™ Alt Mode operation, the linear redriver incorporates Parade Technologies' patented AUX channel interception technology that adjusts high-speed data driver characteristics based on link training parameters reported by the downstream DisplayPort™ receiver is included.

Linear redriver for USB Type-C® enabled systems with an integrated USB3.2/ DisplayPort™ Alt Mode host device. Supports USB3.2 Gen1(5Gbps) / Gen2 (10Gbps) operation and DisplayPort™ Alt Mode operation up to HBR3 (8.1Gbps) link rate. It has a programmable equalizer that compensates for signal loss from PCB traces, cabling and connectors. DisplayPort™ Alt Mode support includes AUX intercept to enable response to link training commands. Full USB3.1 power management is supported.
Offers lower power and smaller footprint for USB-C® relay applications that do not require the full signal restoration performance of retimers. The small size and power combined with the single 1.8V power supply requirement make it ideal for handheld portable devices such as smartphones and tablets.
