The soaring prices and tight supply of DRAM are now a risk that embedded system designers can no longer ignore.
Design decisions for embedded systems are becoming increasingly complex. Today's designers are required to have a thorough understanding of the characteristics of the OS, microcontroller/processor, and memory, and to select the optimal configuration based on both application requirements and procurement environment.
In this webinar, NXP, as a microcontroller/processor vendor, will introduce a realistic system design approach in the current environment of tight DRAM supply, along with a lineup of microcontrollers/processors that support it. In particular, we will explain solutions utilizing Zephyr OS, which are effective from the perspective of future development asset reuse.
We will also welcome memory vendor Winbond, who will explain the characteristics of their extensive memory lineup and selection criteria, while also providing insights into the latest memory market trends from a vendor's perspective. We will present practical options that designers can consider immediately, including procurement considerations.
