Easily start building a local LLM with NVIDIA NIM

Onodera introduced the technical support and services available for introducing generative AI.
NVIDIA's NeMo/NIM highlighted the ability to safely and efficiently operate generative AI while addressing concerns about open source.

NeMo

A set of Microservices that supports everything from the development to operation of generative AI, covering data preparation, model customization, evaluation, RAG construction, guardrail configuration, etc. It can be used safely when handling highly confidential data in the financial industry.

NIM

This inference SDK uses an OpenAI-compatible API, making it easy to migrate from existing apps. It supports both cloud and on-premise computing, and provides security-checked containers. It achieves high throughput through GPU optimization, making it suitable for enterprise use.

By utilizing both, it is possible to dispel concerns about open source while enabling safe and efficient operation of generative AI, which is particularly advantageous when implemented in on-premise environments.

Accelerating Generative AI Application Development with NVIDIA Blueprint

He also demonstrated how a reference workflow using NVIDIA Blueprint makes it easier and faster to develop generative AI applications. Blueprint provides pre-configured Docker Compose files for use cases such as chatbots, AI agents, digital humans, and video research and summarization. By utilizing these, users can skip the complex process of setting up environments and get started on application development right away. He also emphasized the flexibility of combining it with no-code/low-code tools such as Langflow to build generative AI solutions tailored to business needs without specialized programming knowledge. .

Finally, a RAG-type demo was exhibited, referencing the Financial Services Agency's Model Risk Management Principles, and no-code development in collaboration with Langflow was also introduced.
