Product Summary

The KM1M4BF series is a 32-bit flash microcomputer equipped with Arm® Cortex®-M4F and featuring both high processing performance and low power consumption.

Equipped with high-speed/high-precision analog functions that are ideal for motor control/digital power supply control, high-speed feedback processing can be executed, and external components can be incorporated into the microcomputer, contributing to the creation of highly efficient/miniaturized power management systems. increase.

Product features

Realization of high-speed feedback processing

In recent power electronics control, in order to achieve even higher efficiency, precision, and power savings, there is a demand for lower loss by using compound semiconductors such as SiC (silicon carbide) and GaN (gallium nitride) instead of conventional silicon-based FETs. To achieve this, high-speed, high-precision feedback processing and control are essential.

Nuvoton Technology's KM1M4BF series supports the functions required for high-speed, high-precision feedback processing and control.

Realization of high-speed feedback processing

Multi-function/polyphase PWM support

It is equipped with a maximum of 16-phase (8 complementary channels) PWM output for power control. These can be freely combined and synchronized, making it compatible with a variety of systems. It also has a wide range of PWM control functions to support the transition from analog control to digital control. It is equipped with control assist functions that are friendly to both hardware and software engineers. Furthermore, the 16-bit timer is also capable of PWM/complementary PWM output.

Contributes to reduction of peripheral parts

Analog parts such as a differential amplifier that can input negative voltages and window comparators are also built in. These reference voltages are set by an internal DAC. This contributes to the reduction of external components.
