What is the technology that can achieve both battery safety and cost reduction in industrial equipment?

Demand for energy storage systems is growing due to the widespread adoption of renewable energy and the development of data centers driven by the rapid evolution of AI.
In recent years, there has been a trend in energy storage systems to replace lead-acid batteries with lithium-ion batteries, which have a lower environmental impact and are more energy efficient.
However, lithium-ion batteries are expensive to introduce and carry the risk of fire, so it is necessary to ensure high safety while reducing system costs. Up until now, the Company have supported the safety of various industrial applications, including energy storage systems and electric motorcycles, from the perspective of battery drive.
In this webinar, we will use this knowledge to explain the characteristics of lithium-ion batteries required for stationary storage batteries and the basics of the battery monitoring ICs that protect them. We will also introduce the unique functions and usefulness of the Company products based on the trends and challenges in industrial applications.

Fan motor drive technology that achieves low power consumption and high performance for AI servers

There is a demand for reduced power consumption in 48V power supply systems in fields such as industry, communications, and automobiles, especially in servers where the evolution of AI is accelerating. the Company have developed a new motor driver IC that is compatible with 48V power supply systems and has a chip capable of direct 48V drive in a small package that can be mounted on a 1U-sized fan motor. In this webinar, we will explain the trends and challenges in data centers and introduce the Company products that can solve these challenges.

What new sensor technologies are needed for a safe and secure hydrogen society?

Hydrogen is attracting attention as a clean energy source of the future, and momentum is building for the arrival of a full-fledged hydrogen society. However, there is an urgent need to ensure safety and security from explosions caused by hydrogen leaks in hydrogen equipment and hydrogen infrastructure.
the Company envision a safe and secure hydrogen society where wireless/battery-powered hydrogen detectors are used to detect hydrogen leaks in various locations. To realize this, the Company are developing ultra-low power consumption hydrogen sensor technology. This enables overwhelmingly low power consumption of less than 1/10,000 compared to other companies, and by utilizing this, wireless communication and long battery life can be achieved. This makes it possible to detect hydrogen in places where it was difficult to install a detector. Furthermore, by utilizing this hydrogen sensor technology, it becomes possible to reduce the number of people required for remote hydrogen leak management and equipment inspection, and it becomes possible to reduce operation and maintenance costs.
With this ultra-low power consumption hydrogen sensor technology, the Company will contribute to the realization of a safe and secure hydrogen society.
