General-purpose AFE with 5V-compatible high-precision ADC "NA2202/NA2203/NA2204" series
Ideal for industrial equipment and systems that use microcontrollers!
In recent years, the industrial equipment market has seen rapid automation of production processes to improve production efficiency, enhance quality, and compensate for labor shortages. Sensors are essential for this automation, and it is predicted that demand for sensors will continue to grow in the future. However, designing sensor circuits requires time-consuming constant setting, which can lead to a significant increase in design man-hours.
The "NA2202/NA2203/NA2204" series (16-Bit/20-Bit/24-Bit) has a built-in PGA (programmable gain amplifier) and multiplexer with a maximum of 128 times, making it possible to combine and use various sensors, and solving the problem of increased labor for constant setting. In addition, it supports an operating voltage of 5V, making it an ideal AFE for systems using microcontrollers.
The package size is 4.0x4.0x0.75mm (*1), which contributes to product miniaturization. (Click here for the manufacturer's announcement regarding this series dated June 13, 2024.)

■ Anticipated applications
Temperature regulators, pressure sensors, flow rate sensors, programmable logic controllers
■ Three features
1. AFE (analog front end) equipped with high-precision ADC
We offer 16-bit (NA2202), 20-bit (NA2203), and 24-bit (NA2204) resolutions, and each product is pin-compatible, so you can use the same board to meet the system's resolution requirements. This reduces development time and increases system flexibility.
2. Compatible with 5V (or ±2.5V) operating voltage, ideal for the industrial equipment market
Even today, microcontrollers with an operating voltage of 5V are widely used in the industrial equipment market. In order to transmit sensor information as accurately as possible, the AFE must also be driven at the same voltage as the microcontroller.
This series supports an operating voltage of 5V, making it an ideal AFE for systems that use microcontrollers.
3. Small package contributes to product miniaturization
In addition to the ΔΣ AD converter, it also has a built-in PGA with a maximum of 128x, two excitation currents for sensors, and a high-precision reference power supply for the ADC (which can be switched to an external supply).
In addition to incorporating peripheral functions, the small package contributes to reducing the board area and ultimately to making products more compact.
