Product Summary
Menlo Microsystems' Cryo & Quantum switches are cryogenic RF switch products developed for quantum computing and cryogenic device evaluation. They utilize proprietary MEMS technology, "Ideal Switch®," to achieve stable RF signal switching in cryogenic environments.
Conventional electromagnetic relays can present challenges due to heat generation during switching and the resulting temperature recovery time. Menlo Microsystems' Cryogenic RF switches employ an electrostatic drive system, operating with extremely low drive power, enabling RF signal switching while minimizing thermal impact on cryogenic environments. Furthermore, they offer features required for quantum computing and cryogenic measurements, including RF switching in 10mK environments, built-in RF calibration, and compatibility with existing dilution refrigerator environments.
