Wi-Fi HaLow™ Solution

Wi-Fi HaLow™ is an LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) communication method that uses the 920MHz frequency band.
In collaboration with Morse Micro, which develops ICs for Wi-Fi HaLow™, we will provide innovative products that contribute to society.

Major features

1. Long distance communication
　　The communication distance of conventional Wi-Fi was several tens of meters, but it is now possible to communicate at several kilometers, nearly 10 times longer.
This makes it possible to build a home network that includes outdoor areas such as parking lots.
2. Transmission speed
Other LPWA communications have a maximum transmission speed of around a few hundred Kbps, but this technology can support transmission speeds of up to several Mbps.
Systems that previously only transferred sensor data can now also support image/video transfer.
3. IP communication possible
Like conventional Wi-Fi, it enables IP communication using TCP/IP, so there is no need for a gateway within the communication system and it is possible to access the cloud directly via an access point.
It also supports the WPA3 security protocol.
