Product Summary

Knowles' Hiteca™ series of multilayer ceramic chip capacitors utilize a unique patented technology that provides improved capacitance stability and lower parasitic losses under typical operating conditions compared to ClassII dielectrics such as X7R. They provide higher capacitance under DC bias than traditional X7R products and experience much lower temperature rise than comparable X7R products.

Additionally,the Hiteca™ series has become a market leader in power electronics applications as its inherent low losses enable it to handle much higher ripple currents than traditional ceramic capacitors, making it particularly suitable for applications such as DC bus and snubber capacitors.

* Class II Condenser:
This is a capacitor that changes greatly with temperature, voltage, and time. Compared to Class I, the temperature change of capacitance is greater, but it can achieve a high capacitance and is suitable for bypass and smoothing capacitors.
