Dual LIN
Infineon's dual-channel LIN transceivers are pin-compatible with single-channel products, which reduces the amount of work required to change the board layout even when the number of channels is increased.In addition, since they are pin-compatible with existing competing products, they can be considered as a quick replacement from the perspective of BCP.
LIN-LDO
Infineon's new LIN-LDO TLE8457 series integrates a single-channel LIN transceiver and linear regulator, and is available in two output voltages of 3.3V and 5.0V with an output current capacity of up to 70mA to supply external components such as microcontrollers and peripherals.
The TLE8457 series also features a minimum current consumption of 20µA (typical) in standby mode, a maximum current consumption of 16µA at 150°C in sleep mode, the lowest on the market, and a reset output for low-voltage detection to ensure reliable functionality of the microcontroller in case of a low-voltage event.
