Battery-free non-volatile SRAM

Have you heard of a memory called nvSRAM?

Applications that require high reliability often store highly important data, and high levels of speed and number of saves are required in the event of a power outage.
Many customers use battery-backed SRAM (non-volatile memory) as a method of storing data. However, using batteries requires labor and costs for securing board space and battery replacement.

The nvSRAM we are introducing here can solve these problems.
nvSRAM is a single-chip (non-volatile memory) product that is pin-compatible with SRAM and is offered exclusively by Infineon.

Application example

It is often used as non-volatile SRAM, so it is often used for reliable data storage, as working memory, and for data logging.

◆Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

◆Smart meter
