Highly flexible high-end single-channel isolated gate driver family with DESAT, Miller clamp, soft-off and I2C settings The X3 Analog (1ED34xx) and X3 Digital (1ED38xx) feature a highly flexible isolated gate driver family The product offers a wide range of configurable features and monitoring options. This enables innovative use cases such as predictive maintenance.
With typical peak output currents of 3A, 6A, and 9A, this gate driver family offers an excellent solution for short-circuit protection for IGBTs and SiC MOSFETs with a precision DESAT function. Many of these features are configurable. This flexibility positions it as a unique high-end solution in the market.
With galvanic isolation to be certified (UL 1577), it enables a wide range of target applications such as drive, solar, EV charging or energy storage systems.

- ±3/6/9A typical sink and source peak output current
- Accurate VCEsat Detection (DESAT) on Fault Output
- 40V absolute maximum output supply voltage
- A fast design cycle is achieved by reducing the number of external components while realizing an adjustable DESAT with a soft-off function.
- Suitable for all applications requiring reliable DESAT protection
- UL 1577 (to be obtained), isolation voltage (VISO) = 6 kV (rms) (1 second), 5.7 kV (rms) (1 minute)
