Infineon's fixed-frequency CoolSET™ enables increased efficiency and reduced switching frequency at medium and light loads with built-in frequency reduction. Quasi-resonant CoolSET™ implements a PWM-PFC controller with an intelligent digital algorithm that minimizes switching frequency variation under varying AC power input conditions.
