Thyristor / Diode Disc Product Overview

All Infineon Thyristor / Diode disc products are housed in a highly reliable and robust hermetically sealed ceramic housing. This is to prevent mechanical damage and avoid all negative environmental influences such as high humidity. These Infineon products also include disc products such as light-triggered thyristors (LTT). These ceramic discs provide an easy way to trigger using laser diodes and fiber optics, eliminating the problem of isolation between the load and the triggering device.
