What is the LITIX™ series?

This is a high-performance LED driver that uses the highest level of technology and can be used in a variety of lighting applications, whether automotive or industrial.It is equipped with various protection functions required for lighting applications, and constant current stabilization enables stable brightness across the entire temperature and voltage range.

Infineon's LITIX™ series of LED drivers offers a wide range of products for a variety of uses and target applications, including products for low-power, medium-power, and low-cost high-power applications, as well as DC-DC converters and controllers for medium to high power applications.

LITIX™ Linear

The LITIX™ Linear series maintains consistent LED brightness and extends LED life in automotive applications. It delivers stable current from 2mA to 85mA to power applications, independent of supply voltage and LED forward voltage. The LITIX™ Linear series offers a simple, cost-effective solution with built-in short-circuit, overload, and overtemperature protection.

LITIX™ Basic

The LITIX™ Basic Series linear constant current sources are pin-compatible with one or three output channels, providing high design flexibility. LED currents from 60 to 180mA per channel provide stable and reliable LED brightness. Diagnostic and logic functions also improve system reliability, making them ideal for a variety of LED applications, including outdoor LED lighting.

LITIX™ Basic+

The LITIX™ Basic+ series is available with one to three output channels, and reduces system costs by using the same external components for common diagnostic functions and PWM dimming. It also offers precise control of LED brightness with a highly accurate built-in PWM engine and an extended output current range from 5mA to 360mA, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

LITIX™ Power

The LITIX™ Power series includes a lineup of buck converters, low-side switch boost DC-DC controllers, and 4-switch buck-boost DC-DC controllers. As the LITIX™ Power series does not have an SPI interface, it is an ideal choice for implementing basic functional requirements to reduce system costs.

LITIX™ Power Flex

The LITIX™ Power Flex series offers a lineup of synchronous rectification 2-channel step-down DC-DC controllers and synchronous rectification H-bridge DC-DC controllers, both of which are capable of dimming and diagnostic data acquisition via SPI communication. They are specifically designed to drive high-power LEDs and laser modules with extremely high efficiency, but can also be used in non-LED applications such as USB, mobile wireless chargers, and camera modules.
