2022 NE Advanced Technology Forum
"NE Advanced Technology Forum: Impact of Next Generation Power Semiconductors" will be held for the 10th time this year. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Infineon Technologies Japan, which has been a sponsor since the first event, as well as the lecturers who gave lectures and everyone who attended. Although the potential of power semiconductors has yet to be recognized, this forum, which began before they were widely put into practical use, has become a forum for discussing the full-fledged use of power semiconductors.
In 2022, when the world situation is undergoing major changes such as the corona crisis and the invasion of Ukraine for more than two years, various turmoil such as soaring resource prices will occur. There is a demand for technologies that further improve the efficiency of energy use, including energy utilization.
Looking around the world, we can see that photovoltaic power generation, EVs, and even storage battery facilities are gaining momentum on a full-fledged basis. We have entered the age of utilization. On the other hand, what about Japanese industry?
At the NE Advanced Technology Forum, which will be held online on September 9th, we will introduce what is happening around power semiconductors in the world, the latest trends in the use of power semiconductors such as SiC and GaN, and the latest technology trends. I'm planning to talk to an expert.
