WAVESHAPERS
The WaveShaper is a device that uses programmable optical filters and optical switches to control the input light.
There are many variations in the supported wavelength bands and number of input and output ports.
Below are some of the main features. (Available features vary depending on the model, so please contact us for more details.)
function
Arbitrary Spectral Shape Filtering
The bandwidth and spectrum shape can be set arbitrarily.
Mux/DeMux and De-/Interleaving
It operates as a Mux/DeMux with freely programmable channels, and as a De-/Interleaver.
Generating pseudomodulation spectrum
It is possible to generate a spectrum that appears as if it is modulated. This is useful for evaluating optical systems that include amplifiers.
Other features
Dispersion compensation
・Laser pulse compression, shaping, and generation
・Gain equalization
・Distributor that splits the input light into multiple
・Programmable interferometer
-Remote monitoring via Ethernet
