Cassia Networks X2000 Overview
Cassia Networks X2000 is a long range Bluetooth Router optimized for industrial IoT.
It has a rugged housing, a TPM chip for improved security, more power/Wi-Fi/antenna options, and a variety of expansion features such as an expanded RAM area for Containers that can be used as Edge Computing.
The X2000 supports Bluetooth Low Energy v5.0 (BLE5).
It can extend up to 1km in line of sight and remotely control up to 40 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices without changing BLE devices.
Hundreds of devices can be received in broadcast mode.
The X2000 provides cost-effective connectivity for demanding indoor/outdoor environments.
The X2000 can be mounted on a pole or wall using the included mounting kit, or can be placed on a desk using the optional desktop stand kit.
With a weatherproof IP66 rating, the X2000 can be installed in a wide variety of locations, including manufacturing facilities, school campuses, and outdoor plant facilities.
Using Cassia Networks' patented filtering and smart antenna technology, the X2000 extends connectivity up to 400m for BLE4.x and up to 1km for BLE5.
X2000 can be used as a protocol gateway to convert between Bluetooth and IP protocols.
The X2000 supports Ethernet and 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi or 3G/4G cellular USB dongles.
This allows BLE devices to be remotely accessible and controllable via internet applications.
