Broadcom's optical transceiver products, formerly Avago Technologies, are used by a wide variety of customers around the world, from data centers to carriers and enterprise markets. We design and manufacture the main components such as lasers, photodiodes, and ICs in-house, and have established reliability, performance, and a supply system based on strong partnerships with contract manufacturing companies around the world.
As a result, we are able to deliver high-performance optical transceiver products, including cost benefits, to customers around the world and respond to growing demand accompanying rapid traffic growth. They are available for multi-mode and single-mode applications and support a wide range of Ethernet, Fiber Channel, etc.
