AEC-Q101 compliant bidirectional TVS diodes support protection for small, single-line interfaces.
Riverside, California – June 24, 2026 – Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced the CDSOD323-TxxSC-Q series of automotive-grade TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diodes, designed to protect single signal lines from ESD (electrostatic discharge) and surges in space-constrained designs. Combining ESD protection up to ±30kV with a compact SOD-323 surface-mount package, the series provides highly reliable interface protection across a wide range of applications, from consumer electronics to automotive.
The CDSOD323-TxxSC-Q series provides bidirectional protection in a single device, contributing to reduced component count and footprint in designs where interface density and noise immunity requirements conflict with board layout constraints. Furthermore, this series eliminates the need for additional external protection components while maintaining compliance with common ESD, EFT, and surge standards.
