Bourns® PF-SRC50E Series Offers Compact High-Voltage Protection Solutions, Meets UL 248-13 and IEC 60269-4 (aR Class) Standards for Safety and Reliability
RIVERSIDE, Calif. — December 17, 2025 — Bourns, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, announced the expansion of its industry-leading POWrFuse™ high-power fuse series with the new PF-SRC50E Series. Designed to protect today's increasingly sensitive power semiconductors, this new series offers rated voltages of 500VDC and 690VAC with a breaking capacity up to 100kA. Measuring just 17.5mm in diameter and 46mm in length, this high-voltage protection is an ideal solution for power inverters, converters, rectifiers, AC/DC drives, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and low-voltage motor starters.
The PF-SRC50E series complies with UL 248-13 and IEC 60269-4 (aR Class) standards, ensuring reliable protection and safe operation in high-voltage AC/DC systems. Bourns® POWrFuse™ high-power fuses are designed to minimize power loss, improving overall system efficiency. Their compact form factor addresses space-constrained design challenges while providing robust performance under high-voltage and high-breaking current conditions.
